Overview

Pocket Bombs is a challenging puzzle game in which you must follow clues to locate hidden bombs, without detonating any.

Rules

You are presented with a 2 or 3 dimensional board covered with tiles.
Each tile on the board may or may not contain a bomb.
Your objective is to uncover all the tiles that do not contain bombs.
Tap twice on a tile to uncover it.
Uncovered tiles display the number of neighboring tiles that contain a bomb.
Tap once on a tile you think contains a bomb to mark it as such.
The game ends when you uncover all non-bomb tiles or when you uncover a bomb.
On 3D boards tap the arrows to view different cross sections of the board.

Tips

Each tile on a 3D board has up to 26 neighbors, 8 in the same cross section and 9 each in the ones above and below it.
In 3D games, use the up/down hardware buttons to navigate through different cross sections of the board.
In single tap mode, tap once to uncover a tile. Keep the action hardware button pressed or tap the icon on the bottom right to change to mark mode.
Use the Starting Hint option to automatically uncover a starting set of tiles on a new game.
In 3D games the overlay option lets you see a dimmed version of a second cross section in addition to the current one.
Post your high scores to the Hall of Fame by submitting your high score code.

What platforms are supported?
Pocket Bombs will run on any Pocket PC 2000, 2002 or 2003. For best results, a Pocket PC with more than 256 colors is recommended.

Can I install Pocket Bombs manually?
PBMSetup should automatically install Pocket Bombs to your Pocket PC, but if you want to install manually, copy the appropriate CAB file (PBMARM.CAB, PBMMIPS.CAB or PBMSH3.CAB) to your Pocket PC \Windows\Start menu and run it. To find out which CAB file is right for your Pocket PC, tap Start, Settings, System, About and look at the Processor field.
